OUR NEW OFFICE!

NR Events has taken a giant step and secured a new office, ready to expand before another year of back-to-back events as we fully recover from the Covid backlash. 

Its Cheltenham town centre location is perfect for the company as we work closely with Cheltenham BID, Marketing Cheltenham, and Cheltenham Festivals, as well as other local clients, to deliver events for them throughout the year. (We also can’t complain about being a 30 second walk from Boston Tea Party!) 

The office space comes with plenty of room for our kit, from the likes of marking-out flags and paint during festival season to fairy lights to give an additional sparkle to our Christmas events. Organising our kit was a big job and is still ongoing. However, as shown in the photos below, we managed to turn around the jumble of items to a methodical layout within just a day. Packing for an event now has never been easier!

We have plenty of plans to decorate and make the space NR Event’s own. From neon signs to wall vinyls to coloured feature walls, the office will be even more of an inviting and exciting place to work than before. We even have an outdoor courtyard to make those rare office days in the summer feel like we aren’t missing out on the sunshine!

NR Events have exciting times ahead and we look forward to hosting meetings, virtual events, and more in our new home…

Here at NR Events, we keep our prices fair and transparent by tracking the time we spend working on each of our projects. We do this with the brilliant app @timeular which we can input our budget into and compare time spent vs. how much budget is left. 💰

This means we can pretty accurately estimate how many days we will spend when pitching for a new event, leaving the client with no unexpected charges post-event! 🏆

(Even while writing this, Emily is using Timeular to track her time spent on the NR social media 🤭)

How do you manage your projects?

We use an app called @wriketeam which suits all of our project organisation, scheduling, and task management needs. It`s simple to add client users to collaborate on projects and keep right up-to-date with progress ✅

We also build `master schedules` in Google Drive that has all the vital event information in one document - running order, staff & supplier contacts, printing list, budgets, packing lists, and more! 😅

We had a great time in London at the launch of `My View : Transforming young refugees lives` @Refugeecouncil latest programme on the 4th July. The new programme helps to provide therapy and counselling for young refugees.

A couple of weeks ago we were experiencing a typical British festival in our wellies and raincoats 🌧️

But that didn`t stop our team from delivering their best in Evictions for Secret Garden Party and making sure that everyone in the festival was respecting the guidelines and partying safely 🕺🪩
