The Brit Awards 2022

On the 8th February, we were lucky enough to attend the annual Brit Awards at the O2 Arena in London. In the year that saw the first genderless categories, ground-breaking collaborations were had onstage and world-class acts were made winners.

It was a great insight for the team into how a major award show runs and being able to observe the ‘behind-the-scenes’ throughout. We each had our takeaways from the experience:

Natasha- “I loved seeing the lighting on the tables, reflecting the lighting state in the room.” 

Emily – “I enjoyed seeing how they kept the audience engaged during adverts.” 

Ella – “I loved seeing the set designs especially for the last act (Dave) .”

Our stand-out performances of the night were:

Ed Sheeran, Dave, and Little Simz

The Brit Awards gave us enormous inspiration for our upcoming projects this year, including the BFDG Awards in London which is only a month away. From how the table centre pieces looked, to the finest detail of making sure that the winner envelope is opened the right way up, we feel set to continue to deliver the highest standard of events this year.

On 15th April, @cheltbid welcomed the incredibly talented @pandorasboxperformers to Cheltenham High Street for an afternoon of show-stopping Street Circus! 🎪

The audiences were witness to stunning aerial performances, acrobatics, and super-strength, and we had such great feedback on providing entertainment that has not been seen before in Cheltenham 🤹‍♂️

We were really pleased to take on the Production again for this year's @british_film_designers_guild Awards at @thelondoner, Leicester Square 🎬

The set up was a huge task, and thanks to @palmbrokers, @universalpixelsvideo, and @peakhire, a breaktaking stage was built to incorporate the sustainability theme of the show 🌱
