WE ARE HIRING – Event Assistant (Full-time)

FULL-TIME EVENT ASSISTANT

NR Events is a small event production and management company based in Cheltenham, Gloucestershire. We take on a variety of events in many different capacities from producing national conferences to running teams at some of the UK’s largest festivals and we are looking for an enthusiastic and flexible individual with a passion for events to join our growing team, focussing predominantly on the corporate side of the business. Day-to-day tasks will vary depending on whether you are based at the office or on-site at an event, but expect to be assisting on multiple projects at one time in our fast-paced environment.

We are looking for someone who is able to work from our office in order to bounce around ideas and contribute fully.

Responsibilities:
Assisting the events team with a high number of events, from small local events to large national conferences/awards
Promoting the events across all social media platforms
Supporting the events team with logistical and administrative support
Assisting with creative decisions
Researching into suitable suppliers and required items to hire/buy
Ad-hoc duties at events including, but not limited to, guest list management, registration, stage management, supplier liaison
Helping set up and dismantle events efficiently through completion

Requirements:
Previous experience in events, a degree is not essential
Confident in using Google Docs and Microsoft Office
Personable and well presented to deal with clients directly
Basic design skills, e.g. Canva
Confident in using popular social media platforms

Professional and a good networker
Flexible

Full-time | 35 hours per week | Additional on-site hours during events | Pension after 6 months service |
Salary: Β£20,000
Closing date: 20th January 2023
